Plan ahead for the next school year! These are the immunization requirements for GPSD.
For immunization exemptions: When filing for an immunization exemption, meaning that you do not want your child to receive the required vaccine(s), be sure to complete the Arkansas 2025-2026 Immunization Exemption Application Packet for Childcare or School Students located at:
https://healthy.arkansas.gov/wp-content/uploads/2025-2026-Childcare-School-Immunization-Exemption-Application.pdf.
This application will need to be filled out, notarized, and then submitted; you will receive an official letter after the application is processed. Be sure to give yourself time to get the official letter. The school will need a copy of the official letter. A new exemption letter is required each school year.

Our third-grade GT students put their knowledge to the test today with a fun and interactive Bird Beak Challenge! After studying different types of birds and their unique adaptations, students experimented with various “beaks” to see which worked best for picking up different types of “food.”

GHS BASEBALL FINAL!
Tomorrow (Thursday March 13) the Wellness Center will have frozen ground venison and culled eggs available for pickup.
Eggs are culled when they cannot be sold in stores for various reasons - too small, too big, double yolked, etc. These eggs have not been washed or refrigerated.
You must come to the back door of the Wellness Center and ring the doorbell between 3pm-4pm to pick up the vension and/or eggs. First come, first serve - when we run out we are out! Call 353-5123 Ext. 122 if you need more information.
Gurdon Public School District invites proposals from qualified vendors for the construction of a fencing project located at Cabe Elementary School, 7780 Hwy 67 South, Gurdon, AR 71743. The invitation will be posted from March 3 to April 3rd, 2025. Information can be found on the school website.
