We have exciting news from the Sr. Beta Convention! Four Gurdon Beta members placed in the top 5 of the Academic Testing Competitions!!

Our Sr. High Beta Club is on their way to State Convention in Hot Springs, Arkansas. They have worked exceptionally hard to compete in several events. Our very own Taylor Burdue will vie for the position of State secretary. Teachers wore shirts today in support of their favorite candidate and will be rooting for each Beta member competing in competitions while at the convention! We are super proud of our students! Way to shine Sr. Beta!
The Be Pro Be Proud CTE Simulator paid a visit to Gurdon High School. Students were able to explore and experience many CTE pathways and ask specific questions about career opportunities. This was an amazing experience for our students to learn about CTE professions and future careers.
Today, our Jr. Quiz Bowl team traveled to Murfreesboro to compete in the Murfreesboro Invitational. They had a good showing and were ranked 6th out of 9 teams.
