The Gurdon School Board met in regular session last night. The 2022-23 school calendar was revised to adjust the last day of school to May 26th to correct a miscalculation on the previous calendar in required student days (178); new computers were approved for GPS and GHS labs; the board gave its approval for the Jr. High Quiz Bowl team to travel to New Orleans for the national competition in May; personnel policy updates, staffing, salary schedules and additional compensation were also approved.
