Sounds walls are part of the phonics instruction at Cabe for grades K-2. This visual serves as a reminder to students what sounds can be made by different letters. As students learn new patterns or sounds, teachers use the sound wall to help students make connections! Great job Mrs. Bradley!

The nursing staff will begin conducting scoliosis screenings this month. Scoliosis screenings are conducted on all 6th and 8th grade female students and all 8th grade male students as requested by Arkansas State Law. You will be notified if any abnormalities are found during the screening. Scoliosis is sideways curving of the spine, which can easily be overlooked in its early stages. It most often occurs between ages 10 and 16, and generally affects girls much more than boys. Scoliosis tends to run in families. In 90% of cases, the cause is unknown. Scoliosis is usually associated with other abnormalities in the shape of the back, shoulders, or hips.
