The Clark County Spelling Bee was held at Cabe Auditorium in Gurdon. Georgia Neal will represent us at the state bee in March. Ben Zhao won 2nd, and Callen Johnson won 3rd.

February is National Children's Dental Health Month! Today Kimberly Garlin and Wendy Schaeffer from the Wellness Center came to visit our Pre-K and Kindergarten classes to teach them about the importance of taking care of their teeth! Each student took home a copy of "The Berenstain Bears Visit the Dentist" book, a coloring booklet and a dental hygiene kit thanks to a wonderful grant from Delta Dental of Arkansas.

UPDATE: We’ve got a driver coming in. At this time the best he can do is go down to Red Springs church, turn around, and complete the route.
From transportation: We have an empty bus stuck on Kansas, it will not be able to run the route. We are currently trying to get a driver for the route. Students on the route will be delayed.

Mrs. Giles' kindergarten class had fun in music today doing the "Penguin Polka" and other fun songs and dances! A little movement always makes learning more fun!

Good afternoon, we regret to say that we are a driver short this afternoon and will have to double up on routes. Roadrunner will finish its route up around 3:50 and return to CES for Bull (currently cat) bus primary and CES kids and then to high school. We apologize to students and parents of our in town b route for a delay in delivery but it will happen safely and as swiftly as possible.
