As we prepare for semester exams next week, this is a reminder that students should only be on campus during their scheduled exam times. This cuts down on the noise and interruptions for those students who are testing. Students may arrange with teachers to take their test(s) at another listed testing time or at one of the listed make-up times.
Once students finish their exams for the day, they will need to leave campus.
There should be no students waiting in hallways or classrooms outside of their assigned testing sessions.
We appreciate everyone’s cooperation as we work to provide a quiet, focused testing environment for all students. Let’s finish the semester strong, Go-Devils! 💜💛

We are proud of Uriah Gatlin, who his peers and faculty have selected as Gurdon High School’s DAR Good Citizen! He was presented with a lapel pin and certificate in recognition of his outstanding character, leadership, and service.
Uriah attended the special pinning ceremony with his grandmother, Ruby Gatlin, his aunt, Whitney, and his cousin, Eyla.
This honor was presented by the Arkadelphia Chapter, National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution, with Jamie Ward, Chapter Chairman – Good Citizen Committee, Terry Hagood, Chapter Regent, and Janice Ramsey, Arkadelphia Chapter.

Three GHS Agri students traveled to Magnolia today to participate in the Dorcheat Sub Area contests at SAU. One of our students, Amos Self, placed second in the extemporaneous speaking competition, qualifying him for the District competition! Michelle Howell and Bristol Nolan also competed well. Way to go, GHS students!! 💜💛

BASKETBALL VENUE CHANGE: The basketball games against Junction City will be played in Junction City tonight. The junior boys, senior girls, and senior boys will tip-off at 5:00pm. We will host Junction City in January. We apologize for the change in schedule.
