**Parent Reminder**
Letters were mailed out in May if your child was due for an immunization for the 2021-22 school year. If your child is not up to date on his/her immunizations, please do so prior to the first day of school on August 16th. Immunizations can be obtained through your primary care physician or the Clark County Health Department at 870-246-4471. Questions regarding immunizations can be emailed to pyea@go-devils.net.

Meet the Devils will be Friday August 13th at 7pm. We will introduce our athletic teams and also have a short purple/ gold scrimmage. Admission will be a white towel or high efficiency laundry detergent.

Gurdon Public Schools will provide the required academic supplies for students again this year.
Backpacks, water bottles for refilling stations, and similar personal items will be the responsibility of the students and their families.
Since we are examining updated health and safety guidelines, we will announce additional details as they become available.

2021 Youth football camp

We are working to improve the video and sound quality; however, the microphone extension we were testing last night was accidentally jarred loose prior to the meeting starting, leaving the sound quality audible but muffled through the recording device microphone. This will be corrected for future meetings. We appreciate your patience as we strive to improve the video/audio quality to keep you informed. The Gurdon School District is seeking applicants for Bus Driver positions, for future full-time positions and substitute positions. Even if you can only do mornings OR afternoons, please apply. We can use you! Current class B CDL holders with passenger and school bus endorsements accepting a full-time bus driving position will receive a sign-on bonus of $400 after a probationary period. We also offer driver training to become part of our team. The Gurdon School District is seeking applicants for Paraprofessional/Nurse's Aide. Nursing credentials are not required, but willingness to perform general first aid / health services and medication distribution is necessary. Training will be provided. Must have either an Associate's degree or pass the Paraprofessional exam. Must be able to pass a background check. Ms. Renfro has served the Gurdon School District since 2003 in various roles at all school levels. Her current position is Library Media Specialist at GPS.
