Today our nursing staff taught "Stop the Bleed" to our faculty and staff. Blood loss is the number one cause of preventable death after injury. Participation in this program ensures that our staff is prepared to respond quickly and appropriately to a bleeding emergency. In addition, all of our classrooms will soon be stocked with "Stop the Bleed" emergency kits. Be Great!

Join us for Pre-K Open House!
MEET THE DEVILS will be Friday August 11th at 7pm on Cabe Field at Go-Devil Stadium. The admission will be a white towel or high efficiency laundry detergent. Come out for student-athlete introductions and performances by our band and cheer. There will be a limited concession stand (chips, drink, hot dogs, etc.) open by GHS Softball.
ATHLETIC PARENT MEETING. The athletic parent meeting will be held Thursday August 10th at 6:30 pm in the high school cafeteria. If you are a parent of any athlete grades 7-12 you will need to be there to sign the required paperwork for the 2023-24 school year.
FREE youth football camp this Saturday morning. You can register under the pavilion at Go-Devil Stadium starting at 8am Saturday or turn in your form to the field house Wednesday through Friday. All drills will be led by the Go-Devil coaching staff as well as our senior high Go-Devils.

We have EXCITING news to share! We have a new medical partnership with Arkadelphia Children and Young Adults- Dr. Pennington. He will be at the Wellness Center to see patients twice a month starting in September! Get your child's medical appointments done IN GURDON, AT SCHOOL! Students are not counted absent during school health appointments. Parent attendance is not required, but always welcome.
Sign-up paperwork for medical appointments and dental appointments will be available at open house or you may contact the Wellness Center at 870-353-5123 Ext. 122 or schaefferw@go-devils.net.

Pee Wee football / Cheer signups and equipment handout will be Monday August 7th at 1pm and 6pm at the pavilion at Go-Devil Stadium. $50 registration fee for football and $25 for cheer.

UPDATE! 7-9th grade paperwork registration will happen today from 10-5:15 at GHS. This will give you an opportunity to complete all necessary paperwork for the school year. 7&8 orientation will be in the library at 5:15 followed by Freshman Orientation at 6. Due to a technical issue with eSchool not all 7-9 schedules are complete. Schedules that are not ready today WILL be available at Open House next Thursday from 4-6.
