Hip hip hooray! Gurdon 6th grade Quiz Bowl is coming home with a 1st place trophy!!!
Gurdon Public Schools would like to thank Smile Makers and America's Tooth Fairy for the donation of Sparkles the Dental Puppet! GHS students have renamed him Harvey. We look forward to Harvey helping us teach students how to take care of their oral health!

FINAL!!!
Gurdon Public Schools has been awarded a $30,000.00 Joint-Use Agreement grant from the Arkansas Department of Education. We are excited to partner with the City of Gurdon for this project. The grant will be utilized to resurface and update the tennis courts at Gurdon City Park - these courts are available to be used by both the community and the GHS tennis team. In addition to resurfacing and repairing the courts, the grant will include the addition of benches, bleachers, trash cans, a tennis practice backboard, scoreboards, and pickleball equipment. Stay tuned for future updates!
Cabe Early Release will be Wednesday, March 6th.

The Hot Springs softball tournament scheduled to start Thursday has been cancelled.
Let's take science! Cabe 2nd graders have been studying the human body. Students have been learning about the various systems that work within our bodies. They put their skills to the test to put what they've learned on their own outlines!

This Friday, Cabe will celebrate Dr. Seuss Day. Students can dress like their favorite Dr. Seuss character or just come wacky! Teachers will share their favorite Seuss books, and we'll even have some SURPRISE readers!
