TO BE CLEAR.....Ms. Harper's seniors are learning the importance of clarity! In this "Pipe Cleaner Activity", students were supposed to create something with their pipe cleaners and then write down the instructions on how they made it for their partner. Then based on the written instructions ONLY, the partner had to try to recreate what their partner made. They were not allowed to see what their partner made and they weren’t allowed to talk to their partner about what they made. They only had the written directions from their partner. The point was to show them the importance of being clear in their writing because the reader won’t know what you meant, they can only see what you wrote!
