Congratulations to Larry Trejo for winning the 6th grade tournament at the Dawson 4-6th grade chess match at Henderson State University. The team played well and had great sportsmanship!
Congratulations to Brenner Williams and Levi Dyer on earning 1st and 3rd place respectively in the Dawson Chess Tournament at Henderson State University. The team was also given a special tour of campus and met up with Dr Trey Berry! Way to Be Great!

Mr. Jeremy Poole, Education Program Coordinator with the State Department kindly took some time during his safety inspection tour of our campus to speak with Lumber Grading students. Mr. Poole shared about how important it is for students to learn technical skills and how they will help them later in life. Our dedicated maintenance team also spoke about the need to be flexible and open for training to improve career opportunities. Gurdon CTE is grateful for their time and commitment to our students!

New dental enrollments at the Wellness Center are on hold until 2026 while DHS works to implement new reimbursement rates that passed into law this year. If you requested to receive a new patient dental enrollment packet for your student, it will be sent to you when enrollments are opened back up!
