Day 1 of professional development was filled with lots of excitement and positivity! We want to give a huge THANK YOU to SOUTHERN BANCORP for sponsoring our welcome back lunch for our Gurdon staff! It was DELICIOUS!💜 It certainly helped kick off our year! We honored our service year employees 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, & 40! We were thrilled to have a special guest speaker- former Arkansas Razorback and NBA player, Coach Sidney Moncrief! It is going to be a GREAT GO-DEVIL Year!💜💜💜

TONIGHT is the 12th Annual Ronnie Baker Go-Devil Kickoff Dinner at 6:30! Very few tickets are left at Southern Bancorp. Live and Silent Auction, player intro's, and hear from Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame inductee Freddie Scott!
GHS Open House and Orientations will be held on Thursday, August 7, 2025. The Open House will begin at 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. A structured 7th-grade orientation will begin in the GHS Library at 5:00 pm with Mrs. Ledbetter, followed by a 9th-grade orientation. Students will receive their class schedule upon completion of the required yearly paperwork. We look forward to seeing our students and families!
