Link to the September school board meeting is below. The board did vote to continue the existing mask mandate while indoors at school and on school transportation to limit the spread of the virus and the number of quarantines. Parents, please make sure your student has a mask on when they board the bus or exit the car each school day. Masks must be worn over the nose and mouth by all parties affected to be exempt from quarantine in the event of a positive case. Thank you for your support in this matter. Gurdon Public Schools has been awarded grant funding from the AR Food Bank to provide extra food boxes to families and students needing assistance. If you are in need of food at home please fill out the attached form. All information will be kept confidential.

The Clark County Health Unit will host a FREE community drive through flu shot clinic on Thursday, September 30th from 9:30am-6pm at the address listed in the flyer.
Gurdon School District will also partner with our local health department to provide our annual flu shot clinic on campus for students and school personnel on October 7th. Flu shot permission forms will go out to students this week or can be picked up in the nurse's office and should be turned in to their school office no later than October 1st.

Last week our teachers scheduled parent teacher conferences for September 23 between 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Conferences will be held online or by phone. If you haven't been contacted and wanted to schedule a conference, please email your student's teacher so we can assist in doing so. If you experience difficulty connecting with a teacher on the night of parent teacher conference, feel free to contact the office for assistance at 870-353-4321.
